Hydraulic integraded systems and solutions

Enerpac's Integrated Solutions division provides high force system solutions to meet customer requirements for safe, precise control of movement and positioning. With more than 50 years of experience, Enerpac has gained unique expertise in delivering hydraulic solutions for the controlled movement and positioning of structures.

In addition to providing the most comprehensive line of globally-supplied, locally-supported products, Enerpac combines hydraulics, steel fabrication and electronic control with engineering and application knowledge, to design and manufacture solutions that ensure your projects are completed safely and efficiently.

  • Hydraulic Gantries

Hydraulic gantries are a safe, efficient way to lift and position heavy loads in applications where traditional cranes will not fit and permanent overhead structures for job cranes are not an option.

When used with rail systems, hydraulic gantries also provide a means for moving and placing heavy loads.

Enerpac offers two series of hydraulic gantry systems: the cost effective SL series that offers control and stability and the heavy duty SBL series that goes up to 1000 tonne capacity.

Enerpac hydraulic gantries have a number of unique features to ensure optimum stability and safety: self-contained hydraulics and electrics, self-propelled wheels or tank rollers, and the Intellilift wireless control system. Intellilift provides the operator with information about the stroke, lift and load per unit and it automatically corrects any unsynchronised motion of the individual units.

Enerpac offers a range of accessories to complete the gantry system: header beams, skid tracks, side shift systems and lifting lugs.

  • Synchronous Lifting System

Enerpac has been providing computer-controlled Synchronized Lifting Systems for over 20 years. This experience is available to all our customers who need assistance with critical lifting applications. By combining the incredible strength of high-pressure hydraulics to the high-speed of monitoring and control in today's computer systems, Enerpac has the expertise to lift some of the largest and unique structures on the planet.

The SLCG system allows the end-user to use existing hydraulics in the lift to provide an economical solution to many precise lifting applications. When more control and lift points are required, the ESS system offers expandable, multi-programmable options that provide many lift options such as Centre of Gravity, leveling and weighing capabilities.

Enerpac's engineers will put their extensive capabilities to work to create a unique system tailored to your special lifting and positioning needs.

  • Linear hydraulic winches

A strand jack can be considered a linear winch. In a strand jack, a bundle of steel cables or strands are guided through a hydraulic cylinder; above and below the cylinder are anchor systems with wedges that grip the strand bundle. By stroking the cylinder in and out while the grips are engaged in the anchors, a lifting or lowering movement is achieved.

The motion of the cylinders is driven by hydraulic power packs. They can be electric or diesel powered. Our sophisticated SCC software program synchronizes the motion of the strand jacks and adjusts the motion to the loads per lifting point.

Enerpac strand jacks are available with two types of strand: a standard strand of 15,7mm and compact strand of 18mm. The 15,7mm strand can work with a dynamic load of 110kN. The 18mm strand can work with a dynamic load of 155kN. The number and type of strands used in a jack determine the safe working load of a jack. For lifting applications Enerpac strand jacks are calculated with a 2,5 safety factor against breaking load to working load.

Enerpac strand jack systems are available from 30 up to 1.000 tonne capacity. We also provide a full range of accessories like a strand guide, strand dispenser and recoiler. All systems are certified and tested under Lloyd’s witness. Each installation is delivered with an instruction and operation manual in English

  • Self-Propelled Modular Unit (SPMU)

The Enerpac Self-Propelled Modular Unit features a minimised height and slim design, which make it very easy to operate in confined spaces. Each wheel unit has a steering as well as a lifting cylinder at its disposal. Wheel propulsion is established by hydraulic propulsion.

The modular unit is controlled by Intellidrive, a wireless control system that allows the entire system to be operated by one person.

The power pack is a so-called hydraulic power unit that operates the complete structure. Installed inside the power pack is a diesel driven engine that empowers a massive hydraulic pump unit. The diesel engine complies with EPA Interim TIER 4 emission regulations. Each power pack is able to supply pressure for maximum 3 modular units simultaneously. When the system is being extended, more power packs can be applied to the configuration.

One of the unique features of the system is that it is able to be containerized. Two units and a power pack can be shipped inside just one 20 foot container.
